Then came Palin's dirty linens being washed in public while the Republicans are still busy being political and all-so-sympathetic about the Gustav rage. Doubts were already raised when McCain first introduced his little-known Vice Presidential candidate, sources stating that he has only met her 6 months ago, and only interviewed her once before the decision was made. Rash? "No", McCain said, defending his choice of the former Beauty Queen and Alaskan governor. He added that Mrs. Sarah Palin was "critically reviewed" and met the criteria before the decision was finalized.
However, now that news of Palin's 17-year old daughter Bristol Palin is close to five months pregnant and is unwed again threatens to topple the McCain campaign. Though Palin have stated that her daughter will be marrying the baby's father and is due to give birth in December, her lack of governence in her own household is already in a mess - as viewed by many. There are speculations, however, that Palin's 5th child is actually her daughter's.
To add oil to the fire, both Palin and her husband have been involved in police cases.
